Come to class ready to sweat! We provide complementary towels – you will need them! During Savasana, our guides offer cool lavender towels to enhance your experience after a challenging class.
It’s best to practice on an empty or nearly empty stomach. If it’s been many hours since your last meal, a light healthy snack is fine.
Loose or moisture-wicking tights or shorts (men and women) and athletic bra tops, tanks or tees (women) that won’t restrict your movements are best. Leave your sweatpants and sweatshirts for after class—they will be too warm in the studio.
It’s important to be well hydrated before you come to class. Drink water, coconut juice or other light, non-sugary, non-carbonated beverages in the hours leading up to your class. Bring a water bottle – we have a filtered-water drinking system in the studio to fill up. Keep up with your hydration throughout the rest of your day and evening!
If you don’t have a yoga mat, no problem! We will lend you one of ours. We also have sticky towels for one-time usage but highly recommend you purchase one of your own!
We offer cubbies and hooks for your personal belongings. Please leave valuables in your car or at home.
Make sure to identify yourself as a newcomer to your instructor. This will help him or her assist you and will result in a more enjoyable class. It can be helpful to take a spot in the middle or back of the studio. That way you will be able to see both the instructor and other students moving into the postures in front of you.
